About Eerie Silence

The Site Name

I was having a hard time thinking of what my site's name would be and since "eerie" was one of my favorite words, i just paired it up with "silence". I find the pairing quite odd now. T_T

Ee-rie or Ee-ry - (adjective)

1. Inspiring inexplicable fear, dread, or uneasiness; strange and frightening.
2. Suggestive of the supernatural; mysterious.

Si-lence - (noun)

1. The condition or quality of being or keeping still and silent.
2. The absence of sound; stillness.
3. A period of time without speech or noise.
4. Refusal or failure to speak out.

It all started..

It all started when I grew tired of having only a "blog". I hosted my site at Freewebs and Geocities and my first subdomain was hosted at CJB.NET. I had a quite number of sites too before but they were mainly for personal purposes only (ex: cutekawaii). I was invited by Ms. Kristine to become her hostee and she hosted ES for more than 3 weeks. I had problems with my FTP and stuff and I also wanted to have my own domain so I ordered a domain with hosting from nokiahost.com.

Due to public demand (hehe joke), I decided to upgrade my plan from standard plan to professional plan on 031606. This time, more space, more bandwidth, more databases and more everything. ^^
